The Pay It Forward Project To Bring Dentistry Back From The COVID-19 Pandemic

One of my requirements for involvement in this project is a steady, experienced hand. The internet is filled with rank amateurs advising dentists on a host of issues that could have dire consequences during this historic event. Having navigated both 911 and Hurricane Sandy in the New York City metroplex, I have called on Roberta to assist in developing strategies in what I perceive to be one of the more complex issues going forward. Roberta works in partnership with doctors and their staff to create teamwork, efficiency, and accountability which results in happier staff, a more profitable practice and “raving fans” which by default refer other patients. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge, insight, and years of hands-on experience and is driven by her goal to help her clients provide superior dental care within a team-driven, supportive, and structured environment, all while dramatically increasing their bottom line.

In this critical time of crisis, moving pieces and future economic instability, she has been flexing and prioritizing each practice immediate needs. She was involved in rescuing and maintaining practices that were impacted by the attack on the World Trade Towers and Hurricane Sandy in both New York City and New Jersey.

After over 30 years of experience in all phases of clinical and dental practice management, Roberta truly knows what makes a practice successful, both for the doctor and the staff. She embodies both the knowledge and wisdom that comes from experience but it is her empathy and communication skills in dealing heart to heart with the real people of each practice that makes her special.

Her background includes four years as a Regional Reseller for Dentrix Practice Management Software, as well as eight years as the Operations Manager for DDS Partners, a large privately owned dental group in Manhattan where her job included buying dental practices, staffing, and re-training. Beforehand, for several years, Roberta managed Dr. Jonathan Levine & Associates practice, a very successful prosthodontic dental practice in New York City where she engaged in various practice consulting seminars.

Having obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene at New York University in 1995, Roberta has carried her passion for hygiene into her coaching by setting high standards for periodontal protocols and focuses on helping dental practices improve the value of their hygiene programs. She continues to maintain her licensed status and is a regular volunteer at health awareness events. Roberta also has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
